Superintendent's Office

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the GUSD Superintendent. Having joined the Gravenstein teaching staff in 2001, I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the exceptional growth and dedication that make our schools special. I have also served as a principal within the district, working alongside incredible staff, students, and families to create a nurturing and challenging learning environment.

As someone who grew up in Sebastopol and has a rich history in the District, I understand the deep connection our community has to our schools, and I carry that same pride with me as I step into this role. I am also a parent of three children, which gives me a unique perspective on the needs and aspirations of both students and families.

I am committed to continuing the GUSD tradition of excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. It is an honor to serve the district that has shaped who I am, and I look forward to working together with our staff, students, and community to ensure a bright future for all.
